Terms & Conditions of Sale – Bed Frame Direct
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Bed Frame Direct (“the Company”) supplies goods to you (“the Customer”). By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering. These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. General
1.1 All orders placed with Bed Frame Direct are subject to these Terms.
1.2 Nothing in these Terms affects consumer statutory rights.
2. Definitions
“The Customer” – Any individual, business, or organisation placing an order.
“The Goods” – Any products supplied under a contract.
“The Premises” – The delivery address provided by the Customer (England, Scotland, Wales only unless agreed otherwise).
“The Price” – The cost of the Goods as shown on the Company website.
“Force Majeure” – Events outside the Company’s control.
“Company Literature” – Any printed or digital brochures, catalogues, or price lists.
“Website” – www.bedframedirect.co.uk (or any associated domain).
3. General Terms
3.1 Prices shown are valid until updated by the Company.
3.2 The Company reserves the right to amend prices at any time, including after an order is placed.
3.3 All prices exclude delivery unless stated otherwise.
3.4 The Company may withdraw any product from sale without liability.
3.5 Order variations may result in a price change.
3.6 Typographical or clerical errors may be corrected without liability.
3.7 Product descriptions, measurements, and colours are approximate and may vary.
3.8 The Company is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect assembly, dragging furniture, or using bases on hard floors without anti-slip pads.
3.9 Mattress and base sizes may vary by ±2.5% as items are handmade.
4. Orders & Contracts
4.1 These Terms apply to all orders placed with Bed Frame Direct.
4.2 A binding contract exists once full payment has been received.
4.3 Amendments requested after ordering are treated as variations.
4.4 Cancellations incur a £60 fee plus 5% of the order value. If delivery has been scheduled, an additional fee of up to £60 may apply.
4.5 Special-order items may incur up to a 50% restocking fee and cannot be returned once unsealed for hygiene reasons.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery is arranged after full payment is received.
5.2 Estimated delivery timeframe is up to 28 days, but dates are not guaranteed.
5.3 The Company is not liable for delays outside its control.
5.4 Delivery will be made to the address provided; suitable access must be ensured.
5.5 The Customer must inspect Goods on delivery and report any issues within 48 hours.
5.6 The Company is not liable for assembly costs or errors made by third-party assemblers.
5.7 Deliveries left in a “safe place” are at the Customer’s own risk.
5.8 Failed deliveries may incur a £60 re-delivery charge.
6. Price & Payment
6.1 The Customer agrees to pay the Price at checkout.
6.2 Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
6.3 Payments may be made by debit/credit card, PayPal, or Stripe.
6.4 Late payments may incur interest at 4% above Barclays Bank base rate.
6.5 Partial refunds for bundle purchases will be based on individual item pricing.
7. Risk & Ownership
7.1 Risk transfers to the Customer upon delivery.
7.2 Ownership remains with Bed Frame Direct until full payment is received.
8. Quality & Warranty
8.1 Goods comply with UK standards for quality and fitness for purpose.
8.2 Natural materials may vary in appearance.
8.3 Warranty liability is limited to repair or replacement within 12 months (unless the product specifies a longer warranty).
9. Liability
9.1 Liability is limited to the value of the order.
9.2 The Company is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law.
10. Privacy
Personal data is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on the Bed Frame Direct website.
11. Force Majeure
The Company may suspend or cancel an order if affected by events outside its control, including transport disruption, extreme weather, strikes, or supplier delays.
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, images, product descriptions, and website content remain the property of Bed Frame Direct and may not be copied without permission.

14. Governing Law
