Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bed Frame Direct, we aim to make returns clear, fair, and straightforward. This policy explains when you can return an item, how returns work, and when refunds are issued.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns (Unused Items)
You may return most unused items within 14 days of delivery if:

The item is unused and in its original condition

All original packaging is intact
-
The item has not been assembled or used
How to request a return

Include your order number and reason for return.
We will respond within 1 working day to confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.
2. Return Method (Large Items)
Due to the size and weight of our products:

Returns are handled by collection via our courier, not customer drop-off

Collections are arranged after return approval

We collect from the original delivery address (UK mainland)
3. Return Costs (Change of Mind)
For change-of-mind returns we can arrange a collection for you via our furniture delivery team and it is totally free.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item is:

Damaged on arrival
-
Faulty
-
Not what you ordered
Please report transit damage within 24 hours to help us resolve quickly. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In these cases:

We arrange collection free of charge
-
You may choose a replacement or full refund
-
No return fees apply
Photographic evidence may be requested to speed up processing.
5. Mattresses & Hygiene Products
For hygiene and safety reasons:

Mattresses and mattress toppers cannot be returned if unsealed or used, unless faulty

Sealed and unused mattresses may be returned within 14 days under our change-of-mind policy
This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is defective.
6. Refund Processing
Once the returned item is received and inspected:

Refunds are issued within 7 working days

Funds are returned to the original payment method
Standard outbound delivery charges are refunded in line with your statutory cancellation rights. Additional services (assembly/disposal) are non-refundable once performed.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned unless faulty:

Used or assembled items

Items without original packaging
-
Clearance items marked “final sale”
